Getting enough protein into your diet can be difficult. If you can’t eat enough natural protein sources protein powder can be an alternative. I don’t usually recommend using protein shakes as meal replacements, but protein powder is a great addition in snacks or added to your daily meals to increase your protein intake. One thing that I recommend for clients who hate protein powder is adding protein to a shake or a smoothie. This not only helps it taste better, but it tastes like a dessert or a treat. I like to make protein smoothies or shakes for a late-night snack, I promise some of these recipes almost taste like ice cream. These recipes are some of my favorites all of them are low calorie while the amount of carbohydrates varies, some are lower in carbs and some are higher in carbs.
