When I think of St. Patty’s day, I think of green and all things lucky so I am going to share with you seven “green” healthy recipes for you to enjoy for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration.


1.Healthy Shamrock Shake

This is a healthy copycat of McDonald’s Shamrock Shake! This healthy mint smoothie is full of natural ingredients including bananas, vanilla almond milk, avocado, and peppermint.

Since guacamole and chicken salad are two of our favorite things, I decided it was time to combine them! This guacamole chicken salad is mayo-free, packed with flavor, protein, and perfect for easy lunches! It’s paleo, Whole30 compliant and keto friendly, too.

7. Replica Trader Joe’s Bistro Kale Salad

Replica Trader Joe’s Bistro Kale Salad

This would be great paired with some tilapia or chicken!
Ingredients:⠀
2 cups kale⠀
2 cups arugula⠀
1/4 cup mint⠀
1/4 cup basil⠀
1 can drained chickpea⠀
1/4 - 1/2 cup of craisins (soaked in hot water to plump them up, then drained)⠀
1/2 cup edamame⠀
1/4 cup chopped almonds⠀
1 small carrot shredded⠀
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes ⠀
Juice of 1 lemon⠀
Olive oil⠀
2 tablespoons honey⠀
Avocado ⠀
Chop kale and massage with a little bit of olive oil. Chop mint and basil. Add herbs as arugula to the kale. Half cherry tomatoes and add them. Rinse and drain chickpeas and add to the bowl. Soak craisins for 10 minute in hot water, drain, add to bowl. Shred the carrot and toss it in with the chopped almond. Throw in the edamame. Make the dressing in a separate bowl- juice the lemon, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons honey and mix. Pour over salad and toss. Add avocados to top it off!
